Oral Health Community Engagement Fund (OHCEF)
The purpose of this fund is to support research directed at the provision of oral health care to vulnerable and underserved population groups and communities. The mission of the sponsor is to promote community engagement by promoting dentistry as a profession contributing to the community.
Projects must show clear alignment with the goals of the OHCEF, to support initiatives in scholarship and research directed at improving oral health care for vulnerable and underserved populations and communities. Applications deemed ineligible will not be peer-reviewed. Communities may be defined as a particular population group such as elderly, chronically ill, mobility challenged, new immigrants, refugees, inner-city poor, and Indigenous peoples. Communities may also be defined as a geographic region that may be underserved for oral care such as rural and remote areas and developing countries.
