What is an SAT Score?
It is important to know what an SAT is in order to understand what SAT score means. The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States.
However, since it was debuted by the College Board in 1926, its name and scoring have changed several times.
Though originally called the Scholastic Aptitude Test, it was later called the Scholastic Assessment Test. And then the SAT I: Reasoning Test. Also, the SAT Reasoning Test, then simply the SAT.
Some Scholarships by SAT Score for 2022/2023
AS discussed above, an SAT score is the score associated with the test. In other words, it is the score one has on this test. The SAT score range is 400–1600.
And this is for your total score and 200–800 for each of your two section scores. Below are a range of SAT scores and scholarships awards under them:
1. SAT Scores from 400 To 1,000
➢ Actuarial Diversity Scholarship
This is one of the Scholarships by SAT Score. The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship promotes diversity. And this is within the profession. Also, it’s through an annual scholarship program.
Furthermore, it’s for Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American, and Pacific Islander students.
However, the applicant must have at least one birth parent who is a member of one of the following minority groups: Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American, and Pacific Islander.

Award Amount: $4,000.
Requirement: Applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the actuarial profession. Also, must be a full-time undergraduate student at a U.S. accredited educational institution.
And must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Also, entering college freshmen must have a minimum ACT math score of 28 or SAT math score of 600.

➢ Army ROTC Four-Year High School Scholarship
The Four-Year High School Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program.
You can contact your high school academic advisor or campus Military Science department for more information.

Requirement: Applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 26. Also, must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

2. SAT Scores from 1,201 To 1,400
➢ Engebretson Foundation Scholarship
Also, this is one of the Scholarships by SAT Score. The Engebretson Foundation Scholarship is awarded to one student each year.
However, the student must be a high school senior. And must who demonstrate not only financial need but also impressive academic performance and leadership ability.
Additionally, note, please. The annual award winner receives $5,000 per semester of college. Also, winners may reapply for the prize every year. But applicant must have an ACT of 28 or an SAT of 1240. However, for more information or to apply, please visit the application link below.
Award Amount: $10,000.
Requirement: Applicant must be a high school senior. And must demonstrate not only financial need but also impressive academic performance and leadership ability.
Additionally, must have an ACT of 28 or an SAT of 1240. Also, must have a 3.75 GPA or above and/or top 5% of graduating class.
