Many countries that use the peso mark their currency with the same US dollar sign. However, on most keyboards, the Philippines uses a unique symbol that is not seen.
To insert this symbol in a Word document, you can paste it into a sign’s graphic file but instead, insert it using the Symbol window to keep your text flowing properly.
The Philippine peso is the Philippines ‘ official currency, and the peso sign (almost) is the emblem of the currency. The peso symbol is commonly used in publications and communications, though sometimes PHP is used instead.
Unlike the dollar sign, the peso sign is not found in computer keyboards. You will have to use a special combination on your keyboard in order to type it.
