Eligibility of the Fulbright Romania Student Award
1. The student must have Romanian citizenship
2. The students who hold a green card or have dual (Romanian and U.S.) citizenship are ineligible.
3. The student must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree.
4. BA students can only apply if they are in their final year of undergraduate study
5. The student must be proficient in the English language.
6. For the students who are willing to apply to Law, they must have a relevant previous degree in the field of Law.
7. The clinical students are ineligible to apply.
8. For Ph.D. students, must be early-stage Ph.D. students who are enrolled in a Romanian or European Ph.D. program by the time of the application.
9. Only the Romanian final nominees have to take TOEFL (for research) and TOEFL, GRE, or GMAT (for master’s degree).

The following documents are required:
1. Translated transcripts or diplomas
2. Three letters of recommendation
3. Result of English proficiency test. (only for the finalists)
