Zoom
Zoom is a cloud-based software that allows video conferencing. STCC now has an institutional account. Email the HelpDesk@stcc.edu to get your STCC Zoom account. You need a camera and microphone to use this tool. Zoom can be used with a microphone, not engaging the video portion of the tool. Zoom also allows screen share capabilities. Faculty can share their desktop, and students can do the same. Zoom webinars work well for conferences, office hours, group work and one-on-one meetings.
