The following information is in preparation for the Campus Curtailment, January Winter session and Spring 2024 courses.
Fall 2024 grades are due by 11:59 pm on Thursday, December 26, 2024. If you have questions about submitting grades, visit the instructions on the CODL website, Grade Reporting Instructions for Blackboard and ARIES.
If you need support, STCC Instructional Designers will be available for appointments through Wednesday, December 24nd, 2024.
If you need assistance on Thursday, December 26th, 2024, with Blackboard Grade Center reporting questions, contact online@stcc.edu
Students must request an Incomplete grade through the Registrar. The full text of the new policy decision can be found on the Shared Governance webpage. Students will access the form through the new Incomplete Grade Request instructional webpage. Please contact the Registrar’s Office at registrar@stcc.edu with any questions.
The CODL email will be monitored. Both Instructional Designers' booking pages are available now to schedule appointments starting on January 2, 2025.

Do you need a course copy for next semester? Contact Scott Lambert, Blackboard System Administrator, as soon as possible. Watch the course copy video or follow the handy format below.
Course copy requests must be in by Friday, January 19, 2024.
Copy and paste the 3 steps into an email for each course you would like copied, and update the text in parentheses:
Please copy my (Old Course Number & 6 Digit Number) into my (Spring 2024 Course Number & Digit Number) for the spring semester.
Please (keep or remove) the discussion board threads.
If you are still investigating integration with Blackboard, make sure to get it done soon. Check-in with your textbook rep. If it's your first time using an integration, check with Scott Lambert. If you are using textbook integration, you should start building in your live shell.
If your class indicates “Private, " the course is unavailable to students. You have access and can build your course, but students will not have access until the “Available on” date.
Students are enrolled two weeks before the start of the semester. Students will be enrolled for Spring and Spring 1, 2025 courses on January 5, 2024.
If your class indicates “Open,” this means the course is open and available to students.
If you prepare announcements beforehand, please set a date using “Date Restricted” for the date when you want students to see your Announcements. This is to prevent emails and app notifications from being sent to students as you prepare your course.
Be sure to upload your syllabi into your Blackboard Course Shells. See Syllabus upload instructions.
