"Enrolled Students Only" Smart View

How to Create a Smart View for "Enrolled Students Only"

1. Go into the course as an instructor/professor.

2. In the Course Management section of the course menu, go to Grade Center and then Full Grade Center.

3. Once in the Full Grade Center, go to the Manage 

4. Select Smart Views in the drop-down menu.

5. On the Smart Views page, on the top left corner, click on the Create Smart View button.

6. Fill in the settings with the information below

   • Add a Name for the Smart View, 

     • If creating the Enrolled Students Only smart view, we suggest naming it as such for consistency

   • To make it visible on the course menu, check the "Add as Favorite" checkbox

   • In the Type of View section, select Custom

     • Leave the defaults in the Select Criteria and Formula Editor sections

     • In the Filter Results section, change the drop-down value to All Columns

7. Click Submit 

How do I see my current course roster? 

• Once you have completed the steps above, you should now have the Smart View of "Enrolled Students Only." Select this menu to see all currently enrolled students in the course. 

How do I see dropped students?  

• To see dropped students, select the Course Management/Grade Center/Full Grade Center option.
