Your STCC Google email includes a suite of Google Tools for production, collaboration, and storage. Review this section to learn more.

Learn how to navigate Google's calendar functions, as well as how to setup an appointment calendar for people to sign up for meeting times based on your availability. 

Access to an internal chat feature for all STCC faculty and staff. Send individual messages, and create a group forum for multiple parties to contribute. Participants can link to documents, share web links and post impromptu Google Meet sessions for synchronous video chat.

Google Hangouts is a communication software product developed by Google that allows invited parties to meet virtually. 

Interactive whiteboard allows users to sketch ideas whiteboard-style while benefiting from the access and connectivity of an interactive canvas. Drop images, add notes, and pull assets directly from the web while collaborating with others from anywhere. This tool may work in lieu of a document camera.

Use this when creating spreadsheets. Google Sheets act much like Excel, with fewer functionality.

Use this when creating slide presentations.  Google Slides act much like PowerPoint, with fewer functionality. 

Note: to date Google Slides do not have voice-over capability. However, voice can be added using  ScreencastOMatic.

YouTube is a staple of Internet videos from social, newsworthy and academic. STCC faculty and staff have access to a work-related account to host instructional video content for the STCC community.
