Google Jamboard

Google Jamboard is an interactive whiteboard allows users to sketch ideas whiteboard-style while benefiting from the access and connectivity of an interactive canvas. Drop images, add notes, and pull assets directly from the web while collaborating with others from anywhere.

How to use a Google Jamboard

Create a Jamboard

From your Google email account
Upper right corner click on the nine dots app
From the apps, scroll and choose Jamboard
Bottom right hand corner, click the + button to create a new Jamboard

Write or draw in a Jamboard

You can write or draw in the frame using the stylus on the board, your finger on the app, or your cursor in a web browser.

Create or open a jam.
On the toolbar, tap Draw .
(Optional) To change pens, tap a marker, highlighter, or brush tool.
(Optional) To change colors, under the pens, tap a color.
Eraser to delete marks.

Add notes to a Jamboard

Feature currently only available on a Jamboard and a web browser

Create or open a jam.
On the toolbar, tap Insert note .
Tap a color to change the note’s color.
Use the on-screen keyboard to add text to the note.

Add an image to a Jamboard

Click notes icon
Select images as prompted

Use laser while sharing a Jamboard

Click laser icon
Click and drag on area to highlight with laser
