Grade Reporting

At STCC, faculty can upload their grades directly from the Blackboard Grade Center to ARIES or manually enter their grades into ARIES. The following resources are available to support faculty with either process. 

How do I know which instructions to use? 

Consider this, how do you want to submit grades? 
  • If you use Blackboard's Grade Center for grade management, try the "Submit Grades to the Registrar" in Blackboard. This might streamline your grade submission process.
  • If you don't use Blackboard's Grade Center, use ARIES instead.

Before reporting your grades, please check your Grading Schema in Blackboard. Not sure how to check, here are instructions for locating the Grading Schema in Blackboard Learn. 


Faculty using the Blackboard Grade Center with total or weighted total columns can manually sync their Grade Center to ARIES. 

ARIES

Faculty not using the Blackboard Grade Center or other methods for grade calculation can directly enter grade into ARIES. The video on this page is an overview of grade entry into ARIES. A vast library of resources about ARIES are available on the ARIES pages on this site. 

  • Before entering grades, make sure all materials are graded and calculations are correct.
