Pre-1865- House at 129 West Ford Valley Road

I hesitated to even add this house to the website, because I don't know its date of construction, and I don't even have an estimated date, except that it was before 1865. The website for the Knoxville - Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission has a PDF list of "Known Pre-1865 Residential Structures- City of Knoxville," and this house is on the list (see page 20 of the PDF). It does not give a date of construction; it only says "pre-1865." I'll try to find out some more specific information about this house, and I'll leave it listed here in the meantime.

I haven't had a chance yet to get out and photograph this house. In the meantime, here is a screen shot that I saved from Google Maps. Knox Heritage has a picture of this house in its Picasa web album of antebellum homes. Click here to see it. It's probably just a typo, but they call the street "Old Valley Road" instead of "Ford Valley Road."
