Circa 1830- William Thomas Walker House

Location: 2642 River Island Blvd., Knoxville

In the Kodak area, on the French Broad River

I haven't had the opportunity to go out and photograph this house yet. In the meantime, here are a couple of screen shots that I saved from Google Maps. The Knox County GIS website calls this house the "First Nichols House." However, it also calls the old house just north of it the "First Nichols House," too. They can't both be first, can they?! Anyway, perhaps Knox County GIS was simply mistaken. I'll have to do a little more research into this to find out the truth, if possible.
