Circa 1790s- Keener-Widner-Gibson House

Location: 8200 Seven Islands Road, Knoxville

The Knoxville/Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission's "2012 South County Sector Plan" does not have too much to say about this house, simply noting:

“Keener-Widner-Gibson House- Seven Islands Road (c. 1790s) Overlooking the river, this two-story log house initially belonged to Peter Keener. This early settler operated a sawmill in the community” (p. 64).

I haven't had an opportunity to go out and photograph this house yet, so in the meantime, here is a screen shot that I saved from Google Maps.
