TRANSCENDING THE MATERIAL

THROUGH SPIRITUAL STRENGTH

When one takes a serious spiritual path, a serious conflict also arises - How do we live in this material world well and make it through to the other side also equally well.

Thankfully, our scriptures and the great enlightened masters have clearly elucidated these beautifully and using this, I have completely aligned my life towards achieving success in the material world as well as merging with the cosmic source.

After satisfactorily executing both, the time has come for me to escalate. This is a crucial juncture for me to maintain the flow and take things forward in my career to the maximum level that I know is possible.

I dedicated 3 years in developing something and over the last 10 months have successfully completed its basic execution in a good way.

Now, I require a basic margin and liquidity to take things to the next level. I thought, why not interact with my Facebook friends on this so that it will be a mutually beneficial activity.

The primary reason for this thought is - I felt we believe in a common cause - the love for our motherland and what it represents. I felt my path or journey strongly represents the true values of our culture and the Vedic Science on which its based.

A Little Background on Me

I have lived, worked & traveled through the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Far East for the best part of the period between 1994 to 2004. This was for my own business interests in Computer Hardware and a few related fields.

After making all the money and experiencing all the trappings, I seriously felt that there must be something more to life than just making money and spending it. I just couldn't find any answer to this emptiness which was entrenching within me.

Quite by chance, I started meditating and soon things started changing dramatically. A deeper spiritual quest began. I had actually been living on the other end of the scale. In fact, I did not know what meditation was. Ayn Rand and the capitalist, so called scientific systems were the ultimate manifestos. But now, I was fascinated by some of our spiritual texts because they seemed like pure science and definitely a wholesome science.

So, I started exploring the Vedic Science. Soon, I also realized that most of what I had been taught as History in school was false. This was a terrible realization and it also seemed like a major conspiracy against the people and the culture by a few vested interests who have cleverly and cunningly managed to execute this definite agenda, making use of the general hospitality and largesse that comes with our cultural values.

Situations aligned in such a way that I had to come back to India (Bangalore) in 2004. I started doing consultancy work related to overseas education and then recruitment along with it.

My work went on well but my spiritual quest became deeper and deeper and I just couldnt relate to a normal way of life. I went to various spiritual organizations and eventually by mid 2010, stayed in an Ashram (for 1 year), wanting to experience the spiritual truths first hand. After some strong experiences, I realised some grave but common mistakes in our day to day lives.

I felt we are totally dependent on the outer world for everything, whereas our journey in life should be inward but nothing in our day to day life supports that.

Our scriptures clearly tell us to make this enquiry within and make our dharma-our reality, our swadharma. But, now, our society and socio-economic systems totally compel us to engage ourselves completely with the outer world at the expense of our inner self path, in fact totally destroying our inner self which should be aligned to the cosmic source.

For eg. A person working for a company or office is totally engaged in a life that is not actually part of him, goes about most of the day engaged in activities that dont belong to his dharma in any way but at the end of the month gets a pay check with which he or she is satisfied and just continues this till the end.

A person engaged in business is actually even more dependent on external factors affecting his business. Any change in economic circumstances can affect the business and he is totally dependent on the people working for him + government policies and international and local circumstances etc. Although his engagement with the work is more committed, at the end of the day, his life is only about make a living.

So what is so great about this? This is the same thing even animals do. A dog has a way to get food, maintains its territory, finds a way to reproduce and looks after its young ones (quite well) and continues the same till death. It is the same for all animals. Then, what is the difference between an animal and us?

With these in mind I started meditating and one by one, the answers and actions were being revealed. To start with, I realized that I need to create ways to align all my activities towards the cosmic source.

With this in mind, I started eliminating all variables from my work. I had to create a situation where there was nobody between me and my income. I realized that in our ancient society, people followed a definite skill. This is how our communities developed. An individual needs to have an individual skill that becomes a total part of him, which is central to his life. Without a center, you can not transcend anything.

So, I was thinking deeply on how to do this at this stage; that too, keeping in mind the other important factor-not being dependent on others. As it has been happening, in the recent past, the revelation happens. I suddenly got to know about online trading in the stock exchange at the end of 2011. This seemed perfect for my purpose. But I knew nothing about it. So, I had to learn.

After exploring various types of trading, I zeroed in on Day Trading as the most suitable for me. I decided to eliminate all advisers and broker advises and sat down day and night researching various patterns because I felt that if I had to learn something, I had to know things from the ground up and know the extremities-both sides-the total pluses and minuses of every decision.

Little by little, only by losing money, I learnt everything the hard but strong way. From 2011, till the end of 2014, I did not make a single Paise in the balance sheet, but was learning things tremendously every day. Then, slowly, from the start of this year, little by little, I started making money. I could cover the monthly expenses and have since established a good basic foundation to make a consistent living out of this.

So, how is this different from other ways of working and what is the link to spirituality and our swadharma (our individual path towards salvation). Here are some of the points

1) As a 'Work,' there is nobody between you and your source of livelihood. You are your own boss. All success and failure is your responsibility. This directly eliminates unnecessary karmic links which we accumulate in our daily lives unconsciously.

2) There is no retirement. The more you do this, you can only get better. A typical person works till around 60 and after that could have another 20 years to live and is not employable. The world around him would have changed very much and he will be spending his time uselessly. Looking after your grandchildren maybe a good way to pass time but does nothing significant to your conscious evolution. Besides, the world around us has become such that the next generations will find things so many more times competitive and children cant be expected to look after elders.

3) My activity is such that it keeps me alert, aware and sharp, the whole day. There is no room for dullness which can take a toll on your life without your knowledge.

4) There is no room for useless drifting thoughts or thoughts about other people. This has got great spiritual significance.

5) One must have a dedicated skill with which one must be involved totally. Only this will be help in the path of our conscious evolution. Unless we undertake and engage in a dedicated task with complete awareness and intensity, we will not transcend our current state. In a way, this is similar to meditation. So, work is used as a meditation to go beyond.

So, what do I need out of someone and why?

Ours has been the only culture or even civilization that has supported seeking the truth as the ultimate way of living.

Ours is the only culture that recognized a human being as a free individual with the ultimate potential and had also created social systems to support it. But now, it is made out as though our spiritual truth will get us nowhere in leading our day to day life and it made out to be merely ritualistic. Its true that during the course of time, things degenerate and mere rituals are followed. But the truth can not be wiped out fully. It is for those who have known it in some way, to pursue it fully and to share with others.

I am on that path and I felt that, on my Facebook page, I only have friends who share a common cause-love for our motherland and values. The significance of our motherland and culture is that it is the only community that discovered, nurtured and supported the individual in his or her ultimate path of self-realization-the complete union with the cosmic source.

I have dedicated my life to experiencing the ultimate truth and showing the world that the greatest spiritual achiever can also lead a great life in the material world without any stress. This is what our scriptures actually teach us. This is what Krishna teaches us in the Bhagavad Gita. Achieving this will also be the greatest tribute to our Spiritual science and Masters.

I am at a stage where I have proven the possibility completely, but, in a small way.

Now, I need to escalate this.

So, what I need is -

  1. 12 people who can relate to what I have expressed above, to each invest a small amount with me.

  2. If 12 people put Rs.5,000 each, then I will have my basic margin amount of Rs.60,000/- to execute my plan of action.

  3. I consider this as being sufficient enough to escalate things to the level I have in mind.

  4. I can give an annual interest of 20% on this amount. I'm not promising fanciful returns because first of all, its not practically possible and secondly, that is not what this is about. So, the maximum I can give monetarily is what you may earn if you invest in a good mutual fund.

  5. I have a route map of what all I wish to do in life for the next 30 years. I can get this money one way or the other but I wish to share the spiritual truths of my journey with appropriate people over the years.

  6. My whole idea of life is to not be dependent on anyone for anything and this independence is the primary requirement for ultimately becoming one with the cosmic source. So, if there are 12 people who believe in this purpose, this can be a mutual live engagement that will greatly benefit the life path of all. I have great spiritual truths to share and after I reach a certain stage, it will also be an achievement that I want to show as a direct practical benefit of our Vedic Truths.

  7. I dont want this amount to be a strain for anyone in anyway. So, I perceive this amount as a basic figure for a lifelong beneficial association. This money in the bank will hardly give any interest. In fact, it will be spent even without your knowledge.

  8. I dont want more than 12 x Rs.5,000 because Im not in the business of taking money and giving interest. Im engaged in this work with a very specific purpose as explained elaborately above. I dont feel like taking money from people who dont strongly feel about the issues mentioned here (this includes most of my family).

There has to be a proper significance to any deeper association. I believe that at some point, I will meet all those who invest in this journey. I want this to be a meeting of like minded people. I have great spiritual truths to share with suitable people. I am not claiming to be an enlightened being. But I am accessing deeper zones of consciousness and I believe that I must share properly with suitable people.

There is so much of misinformation, distortion and lack of understanding of our spiritual science even amongst Hindu spiritual organizations. Organizations are necessary and are run well economically, but the science and the truth are largely forgotten.

If I achieve what I have set out to achieve materially, what ever spiritual truth I talk about will have better value and receptivity. This is what I want to do. Im not a person seeking the public limelight in any form. In fact, I actually shun it. But I feel that I must share things with a selected few and that will also be my duty to perform.

Why have I put this up on Facebook.

Because I want this to be transparent. It shouldnt be like I have collected Rs.5,000 from 100 people to enjoy life. So, whoever has paid and got into it, I will put up the list in the Facebook notes. Maybe I will create a closed group for this list to interact as we go along.

I only want this amount and this number of people. I can not deal with more of both. Im a person who does not socialize and spends my non-working time mostly in silence. When we meet at a time in the future, it will be for a definite purpose that should further our existential state. I definitely believe there is a higher purpose in this effort and association.

So, my dear friends, we shouldnt just engage here in political issues. We do share some core values. This compels us to share relevant stuff and engage in relevant issues online almost daily. I would like at least a small group to engage in expanding our consciousness. I was also hoping that I can use our core affinity to have a deeper association with some of you.

I really wish to make a success out of my endeavor and showcase it as a clear example of what is possible just by following our spiritual texts in a deeper way.

The money each of you invests and the return may not be greatly significant now either way. But I promise you, I am on the verge of something big and I will make it exponentially worthwhile for your whole life time.

For those who can support me on this, I can give you my personal details and also the bank account to transfer this amount to. Please remember, what I do is daily trading and every day counts for me and indeed every moment counts in everybody's life.

Look forward to hearing from all. You may comment here or on Facebook.

With love, regards and God Bless

I leave you here with verse 7 from the 8th Chapter of Bhagavad Gita

Therefore, at all times remember Me and fight.

With mind and intellect absorbed in Me you shall without doubt come to Me alone.

Explanation-

Krishna advises Arjuna to fight the battle with constant thought of the self. To turn action itself into prayer. Prayer or worship should not confine itself to an occasional past time. True worship must permeate every thought, feeling and action. It is a full-time awareness of the Self.

Your mind and intellect must always rest on the self while your body acts in this world. You must function in the world like an actor does in the theatre. An actor never loses his true identity even as he plays a variety of roles on the stage. He remembers his own person in and through all his theatrical presentations.

You too must remember yourself as the supreme self-Atman while your body, mind and intellect engage in world activities. Krishna uses Me to mean the SELF within you.

The advice directs Arjuna to rest his thoughts upon the self and fight the battle. Arjuna being a Ksatriya, warrior, must perform his obligatory duty by fighting a righteous war.

Through this advice to Aruna, Krishna appeals to mankind to perform ones obligatory functions. While performing your duty, your mind must surrender to the supreme self within and your intellect must guide you to reach it.

All your perceptions and actions, emotions and thoughts must be oblated to that ultimate altar of self realization. By acting thus, with your mind and intellect set on the self, you will undoubtedly reach the self.
