Carrot

Carrot juice has been the staple for all juicing ever since I can remember first learning about Carrot juice, back in the 1940s.

Yet, the trend is moving away from drinking it, and I want to urge you to reconsider and add this highly healing and soothing vegetable juice back into your juicing regime.

Why?

Carrot juice is rich in beta carotene. This is a natural form of Vitamin A, called Pro-Vitamin A. This means that our bodies assimilate this vitamin beautifully, without ever fearing an overdose, as Vitamin A supplements will do to you if you're not careful.

Carrot juice also gives the body Vitamin A, B Vitamins, Vitamin E and many minerals. The health benefits of drinking carrot juice are thought to be beneficial to pre-natal women (my wife can attest to that!) and also quite beneficial to our eyesight, and to help keep our bones and teeth strong.

Let's not forget too, that Carrot Juice and PROPER LIVER FUNCTION go hand in hand. (Natural Vitamin A reduces Bile and Fat in the Liver). Carrot Juice combined with Apple Juice is the largest protocol for using the Gerson Treatment in helping eliminate Cancer.

Fresh Carrot Juice is also high in the B Vitamins and E. For those who suffer from diabetes, ask your nutritionist or doctor how much you can use daily as it is sweet.

Here's the way the Great Master Teachers taught me how to combine Carrots with other greens and vegetables:

Make your Tonic 35-40% Carrots and 60-65% can be leafy greens, other vegetables. Unless of course we are working with others who need the rich Beta-carotene in their bloodstreams. This juice I am sharing today is for those who are suffering from Vitamin A deficiency.

But don't throw the Baby out with the Bathwater my friends! Carrot juice is incredibly delicious, beneficial and has nutrients in them that cannot be found in leafy greens. The darker the Carrot the more carotene it has.

Equal to the amount of Vitamin A, would be to use Sweet Potatoes, but they are a bit sweeter than Carrots, so if you are diabetic, please make sure to get the approval of whomever you are working with.

Here's a GREAT Carrot Juice Tonic: (serves 1, organic please)

8 Carrots

1/2 inch fresh Ginger Root

Please juice this as blending will create too much pulp.

Enjoy!
