persistent memories…

wet dreams drowning into lakes

choices washed from our eyes,

breath clenched in anticipation

here...

dualities somehow merge into one

time itself ceases to unfold into minutes, 

believing the simple spirit calms

leaving our crazy hearts to simply beat,

less unrest in the air of things

(we have been rambling

along a thin tight rope,

stretched across an irrelevant canyon)

here...

paused inside these confessions,

we might just pause a moment

ignore the game
