diamonds swimming ontop sea-torn waves,
prisms sparkling in sunlight,
cream foam melting along the wet white sand,
shipping shells and oceanweeds along for a ride
and waves reaching high and higher,
building, then falling, then rebuilding...
gathering, collecting, uniting...
and white, blue-billed seabirds swoop and play
as members of this symphony,
gathering and disbursing as they were created for,
horseflies biting intruders
endless white grains of sand
and the ocean’s partner, the wind,
tossing about these monumental images,
