inhabited every image,

encouraging her longing to mold a language

shaped after long silences,

other voices to calm her after quivering thoughts

long enough to word-paint

the landscape of her life

and other voices revised,

offered,

whispering she go on writing

not just tread words

but listen to what has been written,

those other voices from her mind,

those other voices from the tip of her pen
