6. THE GLORY OF GOD IN ME HAS TURNED DIFFICULT SITUATIONS AROUND
Brother TKT (New Year's Eve 2015):
"The glory of God in me wherever I go has released blessing to me and to others, turning difficult situations around.
My friends from KL had started a bird’s nest business by setting up a stall in the Peranakan Museum in Penang.
As they are from KL, they asked me to help oversee the sales here in Penang.
On 21/12/15, while my KL friend and I were having dinner, a tour guide called and arranged for a meeting with some Chinese from China who were going to leave Penang the next day.
As my KL friend needed to catch his flight after dinner and was not able to meet the tourists, I had to go instead.
I went with very little knowledge of the facts about bird’s nest (probably less than 30%), and I learnt it only by reading the facts sent via Whatsapp from my friend as he flew back to KL.
When I reached the place the tourists were staying, I saw that they were all in their 20’s and 30’s, all young people.
I had a question in my mind: "Will these young people buy my bird’s nest?"
In my understanding, bird’s nest is consumed mostly by elderly people.
As I demonstrated to them about the benefits of bird's nest and explained a little from what I know with the help of the tour guide, these young tourists wanted all the 20 boxes that I brought.
They also asked me if I have some more.
I told them that I will need to go back to the office later and check the quantity I still have remaining.
As I walked down their apartment, they called me and added some more orders.
As I drove back to the office, they called again and asked for some more.
In the end, I sold 36 boxes of bird’s nest to these young tourists and cleared out all the spare stock in my office.
My mandarin is not very proficient (I am English-medium educated), and so I didn’t talk much with the Chinese customers but they just kept on buying.
I knew that it is the Glory of God that is in me that helped me to sell such a big quantity in just a few hours.
When my KL friend received the news from me, he also got a shock on hearing of this miracle.

1. About two weeks before this miracle, TKT had brought his wife and son to this bird's nest stall in the museum, immediately after the Sunday Service.
At that time, the stall had just started for a few weeks and it was having poor business.
As soon as TKT arrived, the business picked up and many visitors to the museum bought lots of the bird's nest.
The KL friend who owned the stall said that this day had been the best day ever so far for this stall.
TKT and wife and son said to each other: "It is the glory of God that we carry that will bless others and bless our own lives. This was what the pastor declared this morning during the Sunday Service."
2. All of God's children carry the glory of God.
The glory that Father God gave to His Son Jesus has been given by Jesus to each of God's children (John 17:22).
Each of us carry the glory of God wherever we go.
3. We must believe and declare that we carry this glory wherever we go, to touch lives and change nations.
As we decree it, it will be done for us (Mark 11:23).
4. God wants us to arise and shine forth His glory wherever we go.
We can all arise and shine, for the glory of God is in each one of us (Isaiah 60:1-14).
Jesus commands us to let our glory shine, that men may see our good works and give glory to our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
