God’s Plans Will Prevail Against Man’s Plans in Every Situation
1. God’s plans will prevail over man’s plans in every situation
The people of the world have made plans for their own lives, their own families, their churches, and the nations.
All these plans are evil plans if they are not in line with God's word.
On the other hand, God has revealed His plans for the nations, for His Church, for all families, and for every individual.
All these plans are found in His word.
And they are all good plans.
And God said that His plans will prevail against man's plan in every situation.
In other words, we can build God's Kingdom on earth, in all areas of life, no matter what man has planned.
Proverbs 19:21 NIV
21 Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is Yehovah's purpose that prevails.
Psalm 33:10 NAS
10 Yehovah nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples.
Isaiah 46:10
10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, “My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.”
2. No one is stronger than God and His plans
The power of man to succeed in his plan is nothing compared to the power of God.
So God's plans will always prevail in all situation on this earth.
Isaiah 14:27 NAS
27 "For Yehovah of hosts has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched-out hand, who can turn it back?"
Romans 8:31
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
2 Chronicles 20:6
6 And he said, "O Yehovah, the God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens?
And are You not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations?
Power and might are in Your hand so that no one can stand against You.
3. Declare and decree the good plans of God over every situation
In order for God’s good plans to prevail, the people of God must decree and dedclare His plans in every situation, no matter how strong the forces of darkness seem to be.
This is because God has given to His children the authority to rule this earth in His name (Matthew 16:19 NAS; John 12:14 KJV).
No matter how difficult a situation, God has the power to turn every situation around, so that His plans will prevail against man's plans.
This will only happen if a child of God believes in these good plans and declare them over the situation he is dealing with.
Matthew 16:19 NAS, NIV Margin
19 "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."
[Bind and loose = Make a decree or declaration]
John 8:28
28 So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing on My own, but speak exactly what the Father has taught Me.
Proverbs 18:21
21 The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.
4. God will do what you say, and His plans will prevail in every situation
Jesus has promised that according to what we say or declare or decree on earth---if the words we speak agree with God’s will in heaven---He will bring it to pass.
Mark 11:23 is the most powerful promise from God for any child of God to receive the miracle he needs daily and in all areas of life.
Indeed, if we believe that what we say will happen, it will be done for us.
And nothing, nothing, nothing shall be impossible for us.
God has truly made it very simple indeed for the least of His children to receive their miracles every day.
It is man who has made it so complicated that the people of God are confused and lost concerning the miracles they need daily.
Mark 11:23 ESV
23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be taken up and thrown into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
Matthew 17:20 NIV
20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
5. Persevere in your faith and continue to pray and decree until you see the breakthrough you need
When we begin to decree and declare the plans of God, God will begin to bring it to pass.
Many a time, the miracles will manifest overnight, especially for those who have just learnt to decree and declare their miracles.
However, these miracles will often be delayed from manifesting in our lives.
This is because in all our testing and trials, God wants to train our character so that we grow to become like Jesus.
He wants us to persevere in faith by daily thanking Him for the miracle and by daily decreeing the miracle over the situation we are in, and not give up.
Luke 18:1, 8
1 Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?’
[--> Pray and decree]
Hebrews 10:23 ESV
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
[--> Never give up praying and decreeing in faith]
He also wants us to persevere in love by always forgiving our enemies and always walking in love towards all men at all times, always doing good to them.
Mark 11:25
25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
[--> Always forgive]
Matthew 5:44-45 NKJ
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.
[--> Always bless others]
He also wants us to persevere in rejoicing at all times, always believing that He is working out all things for our good through every situation we are in.
Romans 8:28
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
[--> Always believe that God is working out all things for our good]
James 1:2-4
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
[--> Always rejoice in trials and testing]
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
[--> Always rejoice in all situation]
When we have learnt to persevere and always forgive and bless, always pray with thanksgiving and decree our blessings, always sing and rejoice in all situation, our miracles will manifest as soon as we have prayed and made our decrees, just as in the ministry of Jesus.
Hebrews 6:12
12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
6. God is watching over His word to perform it
Our God has given us the authority to rule on this earth as kings and priests.
And we rule as kings on this earth according to what we command and decree and declare with our mouth.
And God is watching over what we decree and declare, so that He can fulfill His word when we decree on earth what He has decreed in heaven.
Revelation 5:10 NKJ
10 And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.
Jeremiah 1:12
12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
7. Ignore and do not agree with what you see or hear or feel or with the plans of man
The plans of man which are not in line with God’s word will bring suffering, death and destruction, in individuals, in families, in the nations, both in and outside the Church.
Ignore the evil works and wickedness of men and their ungoldy plans.
And do not agree with what you see or hear.
Instead ask God to forgive them their sins.
And agree only with God’s plans and God’s plans will prevail.
2 Corinthians 5:7
7 For we live by faith, not by sight.
For example:
If your body is in great pain, do not agree with your feelings and say, “I am still sick.”
Repent of all your sins and forgive those who have hurt you.
And then agree with God’s word in 1 Peter 2:24 and decree, “By the wounds of Jesus, I have been healed,” and God will manifest His healing in your life.
For example:
If your husband wants to divorce you and wants you to go to the lawyers to sign divorce papers, do not agree with his evil plans.
Instead, repent of all your sins and forgive everyone who has hurt you.
Next, forgive your husband and ask God to put the fear of God into his life and cause him to repent.
Then agree with God and declare and decree as follows,
“God has forgiven my husband.
He is a good husband to me and I am a good wife to him.
The fear of God is upon my husband and he repents of all his evil plans.
God has put us together as husband and wife, and no one is stronger than God to separate us (John 20:23; Proverbs 18:22; Proverbs 9:10; Matthew 19:6).”
As you persevere in your decrees, your husband will be changed by God and will repent and be a good husband to you.
Hundreds of hours of counselling, and praying without decreeing, will not change your husband.
But as soon as we have prayed, if we believed that we have received our miracle (Mark 11:24), and began to decree it (Mark 11:23), God will do it for us according to His almighty power.
It is that simple; do not make it complicated.
For example:
In the healing of Jairus’ daughter, Jesus told Jairus, after news came that his daugher has died,
“Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
Jesus was telling Jairus to ignore what he has just heard, and to instead believe in the power of God to heal his daughter.
And when Jairus did so, Jesus was able to raise his daughter from the dead.
Jesus Himself ignored all the crying and wailing of the mourners, and agreed with God's word from heaven, that the girl was only sleeping and not dead.
Luke 8:49-55
49 While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” he said. “Don’t bother the teacher anymore.”
50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
51 When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child’s father and mother.
52 Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. “Stop wailing,” Jesus said. “She is not dead but asleep.”
53 They laughed at Him, knowing that she was dead.
54 But He took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!”
55 Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up.
8. Do not look down on yourself or fear those who oppose what you declare and decree
After we have asked God for a miracle, and when we declare and decree in faith, that God will do what He has promised, many will disagree with us and mock and ridicule us.
They do this because they do not believe in Mark 11:23-24, but instead, they live by what they see and hear, and not by faith in God's word.
Do not be intimidated by others because you are a new believer or an unimportant member in the local church.
God gives his miracles to all his children only according to our faith, not according to our position in the religious system (Matthew 9:29).
Matthew 9:29
29 Then He touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith let it be done to you.”
So after you have prayed, daily give thanks in prayer for the miracle that has come, and decree and declare the miracle over your situation.
God’s miracle power will be released to confirm His word and manifest His miracle in due season.
This was the encouragement God gave to Jeremiah, when he was a young man, and opposed by the religious leaders of his day.
He was commanded to speak only God’s word to the children of Israel, so that God’s plans will come to pass.
Jeremiah 1:4-13
4 The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
6 “Alas, Lord Yehovah,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”
7 But Yehovah said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.
8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.
9 Then Yehovah reached out His hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth.
10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
11 The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”
“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.
12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
A TESTIMONY
GOD RESTORED MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY HUSBAND AFTER I PERSEVERED IN MY DECREES FOR 7 MONTHS
Sister ZZZ :
"My husband and I had a breakdown in our relationship over the last 10 years.
I attended 2 large churches in the city where I lived and received counselling from the pastors, but the situation became worse over the years.
Although I was the leader of a prayer group in the last church I attended, my problem could not be resolved.
“In His mercy, God led me to a pastor where I learnt about the power of decreeing and declaring the word of God after we have prayed.
I have been praying over the last 10 years, but I never really believed my miracles have come the very moment I believed (Mark 11:24).
So I kept on asking for the same things again and again.
And because I did not believe that I had received my miracles when I asked God, I therefore did not thank God everyday, and did not decree my blessings everyday.
As a result, I never received my breakthroughs.
“However, after learning about the power of praying and believing and decreeing your miracles from Mark 11:23-24, I repented of my unbelief and begun to declare and decree that my miracles have come.
I did the following:
(1) I asked God to forgive me my sins daily just as I also forgave all those who have sinned against me.
(2) I also daily asked God to forgive my husband of all his sins, and to put the fear of God into His life so that he repents and return to God and to me.
(3) I begun to agree with God’s word, and decreed and declared with my mouth what God has decreed in heaven.
I said the following daily:
“God has forgiven my husband.
He is a good husband to me and I am a good wife to him.
My husband has the fear of God and repents of all his evil plans and words.
God has put my husband and me together as husband and wife, and no one has power greater than God so as to be able to separate us, not even my husband.”
(4) In the past 7 months, whenever my husband spoke evil words, or did evil acts, I now learn to no more react and fight back as before.
Instead, I always forgave and blessed him and showed my love for him.
(5) I continue to decree and declare the words of God (as written above) no matter what happened over the last 7 months.
I am happy to report that over the last 7 months, God slowly changed my husband so that we are now the best of friends again, and we went for holiday together overseas at the end of the 7 months.
All glory be unto God!!!”
Comments (Brother Andrew):
1. The miracles of God are available to all God’s children, for every area of life (Matthew 17:20).
2. All we have to do is to agree with God’s good plans concerning our families or workplace or church or nation, and God will bring it to pass (Mark 11:23).
3. In the story above, lots of hours of counselling to the wife who is suffering will not change the husband’s heart.
But just making simple decrees according to God’s word will allow God’s power to intervene and change the situation.
4. Also, lots of hours of prayers by lots of people and by lots of prayer groups will be of no use, if we do not believe in Mark 11:24 that our prayers have been answered the very moment we asked God, and if we do not decree our blessings over our situation (Mark 11:23).
5. However, if we will just believe in Mark 11:23-24, and begin to believe that our prayers have been answered the very moment we asked God (Mark 11:24), and begin to declare His blessings over our lives (Mark 11:23), God’s power is released to bring us the miracles we need.
6. Through the testings we face, God is also changing our character to be more like Jesus, as we continue to persevere in forgiving and blessing others every day, in praying with thanksgiving and decreeing every day, and in singing and rejoicing in God’s goodness every day.
Shalom
Andrew
