The secret of living in God's super-abundant grace
by making decrees
The grace of God is the blessings and riches of God that has been purchased by the blood of Jesus for every child of God.
God wants all His children to enjoy all the riches of His grace in every area of their lives on earth.
They are of no use to God in heaven.
He has prepared these riches for you and me.
He wants everyone of His children to live in His super-abundant grace, so that they are blessed to bless the nations.
And God's super-abundant grace will manifest in every believer as he learns to make decrees.
1. We are saved by the grace of God.
It is not by our own efforts or good works that we are saved.
The plans and the labour and riches of man cannot earn him his salvation.
All men are saved solely by the grace of God.
It is God who saved us by sending Jesus His Son to die for our sins.
It is God who draw us to believe in His salvation.
In this way all glory goes to God for our salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
2. God's greatest desire is for each of His children to grow to be like Jesus.
God's will for all His children is that we will all grow to become like His Son Jesus.
He does not want any of His children to remain a baby spiritually, living lives that are not pleasing to Him, and that bring shame to His name.
Romans 8:29
29 For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
Ephesians 4:11-13
11 So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,
12 to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Abba Father wants us to be grow daily to be like Jesus in every way, to become full of God's glory and goodness, presence and power.
3. We need the grace of God to grow to maturity---growing into the likeness of Jesus.
God has saved us by His grace and power.
Likewise, God will also complete the good work in our lives by His grace and power.
To accomplish this desire of God, He will pour down His super-abundant grace upon each of His children to grow into the maturity of Christ.
In this way, God gets all the glory, not only for saving us, but also for transforming us into the maturity of Jesus.
Titus 2:10-11
11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
12 It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
4. As we pray and make decrees concerning God's grace in our lives to help us grow to maturity, God's grace is released to bring it to pass.
Mark 11:23
23 Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
Jesus has made a promise here that when a believer makes a decree concerning anything in his life, it will be done for him.
In other words, all of heaven's power and grace will be released to bring to pass what we have decreed.
In other words, we allow God to pour forth His super-abundant grace into our lives whenever we make a decree.
E.g. If you decree, "In Jesus' name, I declare that my son is a good son, a son who loves God, who loves his parents, and who loves all men," it will be done for you by Jesus, just as He promised.
All of heaven's grace and power will be released to bring it to pass, just as Jesus promised.
5. God delights in pouring out His super-abundant grace and power to bless us according to our decrees.
We are God's children.
More than any earthly Father, our Father in heaven delights to do good to us.
He wants to bless us in every way, so that we can fulfill His calling to be mature sons and daughters of God.
Jeremiah 32:40-41
40 I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.
41 I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.
He will therefore pour down His super-abundant grace and power to confirm our decrees, so that we can receive His power and strength to live in His blessings, and to walk in love for God and for all men.
6. The secret of living in God's super-abundant grace is therefore to start making decrees over your own life and those of others.
By making use of our mouths to declare and proclaim the will and plans of God for our own lives, our families and all men, we allow the superabundant grace of God to move on this earth to bring it to pass.
This is a simple secret that all believers can use so as to live under the super-abundant grace of God.
As we make our decrees in agreement with the will of our Father, Jesus will bring it to pass.
And in the process, we will see the super-abundant and amazing grace of God at work to fulfill His call and destiny for our lives.
In this way, God will receive all the glory for saving us and bringing us to maturity in Christ.
No man can therefore ever claim that they have become mature believers because of their own will-power or their education or their wealth or their talents.
The working of saving a sinner and making him grow to be like Jesus is all totally dependent on the grace of God from beginning to end.
Romans 11:33-36
33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable His judgments,
and His paths beyond tracing out!
34 Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been His counsellor?
35 Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay them?
36 For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things.
To Him be the glory for ever! Amen.
