Destined for Delight

The God of hope will fill you

The God of joy will thrill you

The God of peace will still

Your anxious heart

As you begin believing

The hope you are receiving

Abounding by his Spirit

And his power

Do not listen to the doubter

In the darkness or the shouter

Stealing peace and quenching joy,

Denying light.

For you were made to live in praise

You were formed to fill with joy

As you believe what you will

Someday come to see

You will begin to walk in light

Even through the deepest night

When you know that you are

Destined for delight
