Marianne Fox of Wheeling Marianne Fox (nee Levis) was peacefully received into the loving arms of God on Good Friday, April 6, 2012. She was born on Aug. 13, 1930, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Frank and Margaret Levis. She attended Mundelein College in Chicago, had been an active member and volunteer at St. Mary Church, Omni Youth Center, Holy Family Hospital and the Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity. She was an accomplished artist and pianist. Marianne was the loving wife of Edward for 60 years; devoted mother of John (Joanne) Fox, Peggy (Russ) Hill, Frank Stephen (Angel) Fox, Michael Fox; cherished grandmother of Kristen Wentink, Michael Hill, Julie Delaney, Jennifer Nelson, and Brian, Christopher, Catherine, Jimmy, Amanda, Steve and Kayla Fox; great-grandmother of Tyler, Dominick, Evelyn and McKenna; and dear sister to Frank Levis and the late Peggy Zank. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Kolssak Funeral Home, Ltd., 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (two blocks south of Dundee Road), Wheeling. Funeral prayers will be Wednesday, at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.
