Betty Ann Simplot, 89, of Black River Falls passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Meadowbrook in Black River Falls.
Betty was born March 9, 1930 in Black River Falls to Albert and Leah Stenulson. She grew up in Black River Falls, attended BRF High School and worked at Gebhardt School as the lunch lady for many years.
Betty enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, the outdoors, reading, long rides with her husband every Sunday, fishing, bird watching, word search and crossword puzzles.
Betty is survived by her sons: Roy “Buzzy”, Michael “Mike” daughters: Sharon (Brian) Glover, Patsy (Rod) Deno and Lynn (Ted) Coplien; brothers: Donald “Bud”, Lewis “Tubby”, Albert “Sunny”; sisters: Arlene, Margie, Irene and Carol; grandchildren: Ben (Jackie), Jon (Shanna), Leah, Abbie (Seth), Billy (Jackie), Tammy (Laural), Jimmy, Timmy (Theresa), Danny, Sarah (Nick), Laura (Nick), Maria (Nick), Mindy (Luke), Jerad (Jessie), Macy (Jordan), and Drew. She is further survived by 28 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; son, Blain; daughter, Linda; brother, Wardy; and sister, Jeanette.
Memorial services will be held 3:30 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Methodist Church, 100 N 4th Street, Black River Falls, WI. A celebration and fellowship will be held at First & Last Chance Tavern following the service. Burial will take place at the Sullivan Cemetery at a later date.
