THE HELD STORY
(the condensed version)
Once upon a time a young man, whose name was Herbie, was walking the shores of Lake Michigan when he stumbled upon an antique lamp half buried in the sand.
He uncovered the lamp, brushed it off and rubbed it a bit to make it shine and (you guessed it) a Genie, named Jeanie appeared. Jeanie was not just an ordinary Genie, but a gorgeous dark haired, blue eyed raving beauty. Herbie stood there with his mouth gapped open and his eyes popping out.
Jeanie told the young Man, "Master, you have freed me - I will grant you three wishes."
Herbie was so flabbergasted and so in awe of this incredibly beautiful Jeanie that he knew instantly what his first wish was, "I wish you were my wife."
and so "POOF" they were married.
Jeanie and Herbie were very happy and one day Jeanie reminded Herbie of his other two wishes and Herbie said, "I wish we had four perfect children that would never cause us no worry, and to share in our happiness and make our lives complete."
So, "POOF" "POOF" "POOF" "Fizzle" - Three daughters and a son were born (even genie magic has its limitations)
And so for the next 38 years Jeanie and Herbie were busy raising their perfect children and having so much fun and excitement, (yeah, that's what we'll call it, excitement) they didn't even notice the time rolling by.
Then one day Jeanie again reminded Herbie that he had one wish left. Herbie said, "I want to leave all our cares and worries behind and spend the rest of my life in peace with my beautiful bride."
And so "POOF" it was done,
And they lived happily after.
P.S. Jeanie doesn't call Herbie "Master" anymore, but I guess you have to give a little to get a little.
