Mamie (Mrs William) McDonald, 103, Spokane, Washington, and formerly of Black River Falls, died January 24 at a Spokane nursing home.
Funeral services were conducted January 30 in Portland, Oregon and burial was there also.
She was born near Black River Falls on July 18, 1875, to George M and Julia Levis Thompson and she taught school in many Jackson County schools.
She was married twice and both husbands preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Secord, Vanderhoof, British Columbia, Canada, and Clyde McDonald, Mead, Washinginton; one brother, Harry Thompson, Zephre Hills, Florida; and one grandchild.
