Jean was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Black River Falls to Angus and Verna (Hart) Flood. She married Herbert Held on June 5, 1954, in Milwaukee. Jean was a retired kitchen manager for the Menomonee Falls school district. After retirement, her time was spent between Rome, Wis., and Coolidge, Ariz., and anyplace a map would take her. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Herbert; her mother, Verna Flood; four children, Bonnie Held, Susan Larson, Barbara (Nick) Wilcox and Steven Held; eight grandchildren, Michael (Kristi) Parker, Michele Hart, Nick (fiancee, Nicole) Schreck, Alex and Emily Larson, Daniel and Ryan Weller, Dylan Held; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Andrew Hart; two brothers, Ronald (Marilyn) Flood, Larry (Rose) Flood.
She was preceded in death by her father, Angus Flood.

Happy trails, Mom.
