DOUG OLSON'S DEER

Doug Olson, 15, of 1219 Morgan Rd., returned home with his father, Duane, and this 15-point buck from a hunting trip in Clark County. Doug shot the deer on Tuesday, Nov. 24. The unusual rack had spikes pointing downward on both sides, with holes in the base of both spikes. For Doug, it was his second buck and third year of hunting. His father, who has been hunting since he was 12, has never taken one bigger than 13 points and came home without a deer this season. --Enterprise photo
