The day started with a rehearsal of the three Slovak songs that pupils are going to present in the framework of the activity “I am feeling the intercultural dialogue!” from 13:00 to 14:00 on Europe Day. A very good way to start your day! After, around 40 pupils divided into two groups were informed about Europe and European Union while others continued the journey to Europe through EUBookshop’s publications (Let’s explore Europe, United in Diversity), websites of the European Union for kids and interactive games. At the end of School’s timetable we were informed that the gifts from the Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid & Civil Protection (DG ECHO) has been arrived! It was a great surprise for us because just yesterday DG ECHO sent us these gifts from Brussels! 200 cotton bags, 200 frisbees, 200 postcards sets and 200 pencil kits will be distributed to pupils on Europe Day!
