Let me wish you a happy Europe Day! I couldn’t find any better way to do so than sharing with you some photos of all the activities that took place at our School today! But, first, please allow me to give you some tips… For your journey you will need a satchel, full of papers, colour-pencils, rulers, rubbers, pens, scissors, wooden sticks and cord. You are not going to need any inspiration because your rights as European citizen are everywhere around you – you have just to open your eyes. Then, you can choose your favourite place in the city and design the right that you believe that it is the most important for you. If a group of people ask you about your rights, don’t be afraid, they will probably do a survey about this topic and they need to hear your point of view. Please don’t be shy when you are going to ask your questions and share your thoughts with a Commissioner or employees at EU Institutions and Agencies. They will do their best in order to give you accurate answers using simple and clear language. Because colour is never enough, you can open your satchel again and start painting your face, your clothes, your shoes, even the pavement or the benches! It’s up to you if you would like to be inspired by different cultures! If you are fan of the technology, then you could test your knowledge about Europe and European Union by playing many interactive games! Good luck! And remember: knowledge is power! Yes, I can feel that you want to relax, so enjoy a multicultural concert and try to sing and dance! Definitely, you should give it a try! It would be amazing how common elements you are going to find between sounds – it’s like magic!
What about European flag? Have you ever tried to create the biggest European flag? Well, our pupils will show you how!
