In this blog you can find description of all the activities as well as the program of this day. I hope you will like it! And what happened at School today?
Well, it was the second day of the educational program “Let’s explore Europe!” and more than 60 pupils were informed about Europe and European Union. They asked questions about the symbols of the European Union and about how the EU takes decisions. At 14:00 o’ clock I and my mentor organized a seminar for the School’s teachers of the first 3 Grades in order to present them the EU interactive games that they are going to play with pupils at the activity “Let’s explore Europe!” on Europe Day. You can find out more about these games here.

A very few notes about Europe Day:
- On 9 May 1950, Robert Schuman presented his proposal on the creation of an organised Europe, indispensable to the maintenance of peaceful relations. This proposal, known as the "Schuman declaration", is considered to be the beginning of the creation of what is now the European Union.
- Europe Day is celebrated each year on 9 May to mark the achievements of the European Union.
