Hurrah! Two parcels full of EUBookshop’s publications arrived at our School today! We placed our order few days ago and today we had in the classroom our first publications from the Bookshop of the European Union! Pupils took the chance and browsed each of these publications. They discussed about the pictures and the texts of each book. Also, they tried to do some of the activities that they found in the book “Let’s explore Europe!”, which is my favourite EUBookshop’s publication. It’s unbelievable how easily children can learn about Europe and European Union by reading and playing with this book and with the interactive games that were designed by the European Commission about this book! And what about milk? Do you remember where does milk come from? Well, today we played some games with pupils from Grade 4 about milk and other dairy products. For the first activity, we mixed milk, butter, yogurt, cheese, cream and ice cream production chains and pupils had to put in the correct order the stages of the production. At the second activity, pupils explained what happens in each of these production chains. And as for the last activity, I would say that it was the most amusing for the pupils, because they had to draw the production chain of their favourite dairy product at their exercise books! Pekny vikend pre vsetky! (Have a nice weekend!)
