Schukoske, Jane E.

Jane E. Schukoske, jschukoske@ubalt.edu, directs the Master of Laws program in the Laws of the United States (LL.M. LOTUS), www.law.ubalt.edu/lotus <http://www.law.ubalt.edu/lotus> , at University of Baltimore School of Law, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. On the School of Law Faculty from 1988 – 2000, she taught Contracts, Law and Social Reform, and Professional Responsibility, and started and directed the Community Development Clinic. From 2000-09, she worked in India. From 2000 - 2008, she directed the U.S. Educational Foundation in India, the Fulbright Commission based in New Delhi. In 2008-09, she was an Advisor to the sponsoring body establishing the O.P. Jindal Global University and Jindal Global Law School in Sonipat, Haryana, India. Earlier in her career, she practiced law in legal services offices in Virginia, and directed the Virginia Poverty Law Center. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University, a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University, and a Master of Laws from Georgetown University. She was a Senior Fulbright Scholar at University of Colombo Faculty of Law, Sri Lanka, in 1995-96.
