Linda J. Hiemer is the Associate Dean of Legal Skills Programs and Director of Legal Writing at Concord Law School of Kaplan University. Concord Law School is an entirely online law school based out of Los Angeles, California. Professor Hiemer has been a member of the Concord faculty since 2001. She specializes in developing, assessing and teaching online skills-based courses, training and mentoring faculty in online teaching, and engaging diverse students remotely. Concord Law School has approximately 1,500 students who reside throughout the United States and internationally. Prior to joining Concord's faculty, Linda was a civil litigator in the state of Alaska. Her practice areas included business, insurance, aviation, and employment law. She received her undergraduate degree in History from Lafayette College and her Juris Doctorate from Penn State University The Dickinson School of Law.
