Online Attendance Capture

For those who are not OGD Encoders

Request your OGD Encoder to create an online attendance capture link for you before your event.

Tip: When you announce your event, you may want to remind your participants to be ready with their Member ID number (or Username) and password used in the Members Portal.

For OGD Encoders

Create an activity in OGD. It generates a Capture URL Link for the online attendance capture.

In case you need to copy it again,

• Log in to OGD.

• Click Activities.

• Locate and click your activity. This opens the Edit Activity window.

• Click Attendance. This opens the activity attendance screen.

• Copy the Capture URL link. Here is an example:

• Paste the Capture URL link on your web browser. On mobile devices, use Google Chrome to access the Capture URL link. You may only be able to use your device's front camera to scan the QR code. You can also try using MS Edge.

• Note: The online attendance capture can start on the date and time indicated in the schedule.

• For an online event, send out the Capture URL link to the participants.

For each event participant

• Copy the Capture URL link 

• Paste the link to your web browser's web address box.

• Option 1: If you do not have your QR code

  • • Type in your Member ID number (or Username) and password used in Members Portal.

    • Click Sign in for attendance.

• Option 2: If you have your QR code

  • • Use this option when you are using a device (like a laptop or mobile phone) that has a camera.

    • If you are using Zoom (or similar system) on the device, turn off your camera/video in Zoom.

    • In the web browser, click the QR code icon beside Sign in for attendance. If needed, select the camera (Front or Back). Allow the camera to scan your QR code.
