Members from another country

If you expect members from another country, it is very helpful to ask for these details from the source chapter.

• Full names of members who are transferring to your chapter.

• Screen shot from OGD Transfer module that shows the transfer has been done from the source chapter.

If you do not see their names in your chapter OGD, forward the above details to the Area OGD Encoder and/or to your area chat group.

Accept Members

To accept members from another Chapter/Area/Region/Country to your Chapter using OGD

When a member is to be transferred to your chapter, you will see a message like this when you log in to OGD.

• Click on that link that says "You have __ incoming member transfer request."

• You can accept the new members in the INCOMING section of the Member Transfers. Scroll down to the bottom to see this section.

• • At the right end of the screen, you will see Status and Operation.

• • Click Accept to confirm the transfer into your chapter, or Cancel to cancel the transfer request.

    • When you click Accept

      • The Status changes from Pending to Approved.

      • The Operation changes to approved on <date and time>.

• Go back to the Members Database screen, click Members Database at the top menu. Review the records of the newly transferred members.
