A Message from your Bargaining Committee,

On January 28th 2010 a UMHQ was held in Vancouver.

One of the items discussed was the Overtime process

that Aeroplan had initiated in the Vancouver office.

Aeroplan had decided that as a result of Double Time

negotiated in the Collective Agreement, they were

introducing a different procedure to avoid paying

Double Time whenever possible. The Union's

position was that the past practice was the process

we wanted in place. Aeroplan advised they would take

the Union's proposal into consideration and respond

the following week.

Therefore the Union's proposal has been agreed upon

by the Company and was implemented as of

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010.
