Important Update about our pensions,
Petition: Stand Up for Pensions and Demand Retirement Security for All Canadians
The federal government’s proposed Target Benefit plan framework poses a threat to your retirement security.
If this proposal becomes law, employers will lead the charge to convert Defined Benefit plans to Target Benefit plans.
Unifor members, like all Canadians, deserve to retire with dignity.
Send a message to the Conservative Minister of State for Finance (Kevin Sorenson MP) as well as your Member of Parliament by completing the petition below. Demand that the Harper government withdraw the federal framework for Target Benefit plans!
To join the petition please go to the unifor web site and click on the link at www.unifor2002.org.
