Good day all,

I just returned from Ontario where I attended the Caw council. Union reps. from across Canada were present. All the issues we face, pension reform to paying a tax on parking.We really need to band together and help the various campanges and movements to stop goverment from taking us to the cleaners.Thank you for filling out the post cards we managed to mail close to 200 off to Ottawa regarding taxable parking.

We really share the same concerns on a truly national level, united perhaps we can change the way governments make policy.

I did bulletin a couple of weeks ago about buying mileage at aeroplan, once again we can expect to see something in place in June.

The Company has been in discussions with the bargaining committee regarding new technology they have purchased. This technology allows the company to monitor each and every call. The union has proposed for some assurances that this can not be used for discipline. The company has agreed to the unions request and now we can shift the focus towards adaptation moving forward.

The company has advised the Union that our next shift bid will be in October.
