Wasabi Paste

Yield: 1 cup

Ingredient Amount

Wasbi powder 1 can (about 1 cup, dry powder)

Cool tap water as needed

Method

1. Place the wasabi powder in a small bowl. Add enough of the water until a smooth paste is achieved. Spread the mixture across the bottom of the bowl, wrap tightly with plastic wrap.

2. Place the bowl upside down on work surface for 10 minutes until the flavor is developed.

Note: When mixing with the water, stand back, as the fumes that rise will burn your eyes. Warm water yields a more pungent paste.
