Water 6 qt.
Salt 1 Tbsp.
Saffron, crumbled ½ Tbsp.
Rice, Basmati 4 qt.
Vegetable oil as needed
Spanish onion, minced 2 #
Parchment paper, ½ piece 1 ea.
Aluminum foil as needed
Method
Make rice by pilaf method using water infused with saffron for the liquid. Using basmati rice the ratio of water to rice will be 1.5 water to 1 rice.
