These again were underwhelming, but I've come to expect that for a first try. There were some great drawings. Some did thrive with it as this was our fourth/third try at expressive mark making. I think that the expressive mark projects could benefit from a little more breakdown and exploration first before delving strictly into making representational pictures. I'm almost going to have to break down the barrier between experimental marks and representational marks somehow. So many of them still cling to eyes, or forms, and not the marks themselves. Which is odd that they wouldn't just want to play around with scribbles... I give up, it's a Sisyphean effort. (I've not actually given up just yet, just gotta figure out howww, to get them, to think, EXPRESSIVELY!)

A few of these you can see them start to loosen up, Rebecca's self portrait (girl with glasses) and Cain's skull (upper left hand corner, partial skin deer skull). For the most part this did not occur to them, I did have to give them explicit direction once they had started drawing to loosen up. They do not take their own creative license to the idea of using more lines than necessary. I should have done an actual demonstration of the marks I was looking for.
