Compositions to do during the School year 2021-2022:

First Term

Apart from the compositions you do in the Selectivity exams we will be revising, here are the compositions proposed by the text book. Pay attention to the things you should have in mind to use each time.

    • CONDITIONAL SENTENCES (unless, as long as, provided that)

    • RELATIVE CLAUSE with a partitif (example: I usually go out with my friends, most of whom I get on well with)

    • PASSIVE VOICE such as: it is believed that...., students are supposed to study every day, Tom is thought to have worked for that firm

    • EXPRESSIONS: not enough, I wish... (CONDITIONAL SENTENCES) , so that/in order to (expressing purpose) , to sum up , it is clear that... , as far as I'm concerned/as I see it , quite a boring film

    • REPORTED QUESTION

    • USE OF PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS, USED TO / ANY LONGER
