Keller

Book Club

Do you love to pretend you are someone different? Do you love to experience new story lines and plots? Do you love to be dramatic or funny? If the answer is yes, consider joining the Keller Book Club where ironically we DO NOT read books. We read full length, award winning plays that are sad, funny, heartwarming, uplifting, inspirational, stirring, and elevating, always practicing dramatic skills. When we finish reading a play, we celebrate by watching the coinciding movie or play on our big screen. We meet on Mondays after school in the library. There is a spot waiting for you, so see Mrs. Painter for a permission slip. Due to some mature content and language, permission slips are required.

We will be partnering with our Autism program this year to bring awareness to everyone's different abilities. We meet every other week on Mondays in room 138. We will be pushing out a lunch buddies program too! During our meetings, we will play games and do other fun activities. For more information, please listen up for announcements, reach out to Ms. Grasso or either of our social workers. We hope to see you there!
