Happiness Sneak Peek!
Happiness is hyping up with daily themed activities to create joy around our school! Friday, March 1st, our Interact team kicked off a whole month of happiness that won't just be contained within the walls of Keller. Several activities, like personalized thank you notes, will spread out into the community to recognize the impact in how many members enrich the lives of Keller staff and students daily. Be sure to check your calendar everyday so as to not miss any of these hoppening events!

Recognize Student Success

For the past few months, you may have noticed the continuous rotation of familiar 7th grade names up on the bulletin board across from the library. To showcase appreciation for our students' daily efforts, each language arts teacher nominates a student of the week to be recognized every Friday. The students then receive their name up on the "Look Who's in the Spotlight" board stating exactly what achievement they've accomplished. The individual teachers also award them in their classrooms with some extra goodies. It truly is great to see each student's unique contribution and to see their peers support their success with high fives and words of appreciation. This is simply one way that our teachers continue to spread happiness in and around the building, as well as encourage the students to recognize that they do have their own strengths that make them an integral part of the Keller community. We couldn't be more proud of the students who shine in the spotlight each week to make our school that much brighter!
