Social Emotional Lessons Recap

Every Wednesday morning Keller Wildcats attend Advisory (homeroom) where their teachers instruct them on how to cope with daily life through social emotional lessons. The most recent lessons taught students about the benefits of positive peer pressure, as well as negative peer pressure that could lead to risky behavior and how to handle it. Students learned to evaluate their level of risk (low, medium, high) as well as determine of they'd accept, thinking about, or turn over the decision to participate in the behavior or not.

Today, Wednesday, May 1st, students will learn to think about who is in their circle of influence so that when they have to make tough life decisions they can find some help and guidance along the way.
