Keller Sports

You Just Got Served!

By: Simrah K. and Suzanne W.

Girls' volleyball is a sport that requires teamwork and talent. It’s a fun kind of game for everyone who enjoys playing competitive sports. What you basically need to do is to get the ball to the other side and score points. Here are some words from 8th grade student Madeline S. and 7th grade student Krystina T. who have played for Keller's girls volleyball team. Madeline has enjoyed volleyball since first grade and really savors this sport. As a player last year, she stated a big goal for her team, and all other sports teams, is to continue with open communication to be successful. In her 7th grade year, she was really shocked and was super surprised in making the team. Krystina T. says that she is very passionate about volleyball. She also states that it’s a good way to make very good friends and people you can collaborate with to improve on teamwork. During the game, there were a ton of people giving the team support, and while they were playing, words of encouragement were heard on the court. We should thank them for their hard work. We would also like to thank Mrs. Gora and Mr. Aguilar for their amazing coaching and making the team successful!
