Collaboration Square

The title of this artwork is a Collaboration Square. Created an abstract work of art by looking at a small square and making it look the same but enlarging it. I used pencil to create the outline of the drawing and to shade the first one and marker to color the second one.

Some of the art techniques I used include, outlining and coloring. I used color, space and shape in this piece of work. To add interest into my piece I used contrast between the colors.

This artwork doesn’t exactly have a meaning it just is a bigger version of a square that I had to copy. This completed art work makes me feel happy because I worked hard on it and made it look pretty similar the smaller one.

By creating this project I learned that I can make something look similar even if they are different sizes, as well as differ dark and light colors.

In future pieces I may try and make the different marks on the piece even more precise.
