The assignment for this project was to find a place on Google maps that was important to you. I found one of my friends house and drew an arial view of it.

I did this project by mixing many colors and painting them on the paper. I started with covering the entire front of the wood with yellow so the paint on top of it would be less transparent. I then used a color reference sheet and marked where each color wood go on a separate model. After I was done with painting, I outlined and patterned objects in my piece with gold and silver sharpies.

I did this project because I wanted to try painting arial views. I had never done an arial view before and this was a good start. In future art projects, I will be more experienced with ariels.
