Day 1: Comprehension


  1. What prize did the three friends win?

  1. How did the humans talk to the Beevack? What makes you think this?


  1. When the humans first heard a message in their mind, who did they think it was from?


  1. Do you think it would be hard to tell who is talking to you in your head? How could you fix this?

Day 2: Vocabulary


Can you figure out what each of these alien words could mean? Describe what each thing looks like and draw a picture of it.


The story has many clues on how each thing may look so use this to help you.

Day 4: Letter writing


Imagine you are the Beevack that returned to earth with the three friends. Write a letter to your Zoo friends in Zeelon about everything you have experienced on Earth.


Remember to give them a very good description of everything because they will not know what anything on Earth looks like.

Day 5: Design your own ZOO on earth!


Imagine you open up your own zoo. You can bring some of the animals from Zeelon to your zoo and you can also have some animals from earth.


You will need to think carefully about where you will place each animal and what food you will need to feed them. When you have decided where each animal will go, draw a map of your zoo on a separate piece of paper.


Your map should include your Zoo name and labels.
